"Humor is a universal language" - Joel Goodman

Everyone needs a little fun! We've collected some nice puzzles and games and mind benders for you to exercise your gray matter.

Yes, your gray matter does matter!

And remember, your brain's "fun center" is directly connected to your ability to lead! You don't believe me? Ask any phrenologist!

So go ahead, try the games and puzzles and enjoy yourself!

Dad's Puzzler

Many years ago, there was a popular puzzle (made out of wood back then) called "Dad's Puzzler". No one ever told us why it was called that. Maybe because people are puzzled why Dads dress so weird sometimes?

Anyway, the object of the puzzle was simple enough ... slide puzzle pieces in a rectangular area until you get the target piece from one corner to the other.

Simple, eh?  Try it!

Tower of Hanoi

Legend has it that in a hidden city, monks are moving a pile of 64 sacred disks from one location to another. Only one can be carried at a time, a disk may not be placed on top of a smaller disk, and they must be moved to and from only three piles. When the monks move the final piece, the world will end.

Is there any truth to this legend? Well, don't worry. It will take those monks billions of years to complete their mind numbing task. Meanwhile, you can practice with a smaller version (only 7 disks), which will take far less time!

Jump to win

This game was created Riza Purwo Nugroho. Each level offers you a new challenge, and there are 45 levels! Can you solve them all?

The game presents you with an arrangement of balls. When you jump one ball with another, the ball the was jumped disappears. The idea is to jump all the balls and end up with just one left. This is a FUN game!

Click it and Stick it

This game has no purpose other than to have fun. You are given a nice big red blank area ... with no instructions. Hmm.

Okay, so what you do is just click in the area. Wherever you click, the mouse will drag a line from that spot. Click three times and you'll find three lines connected to the cursor (like rubber bands). I like to "write" my name with the mouse, holding the mouse down as I print out the letters. Kewl!

Lights Out

Everyone has played Lights Out, right? Have you? Are you good at it?

It's pretty easy, but don't get TOO confident. It can get pretty tricky sometimes. When you click on a square. it turns off all the nearby lights. But it ALSO turns on any that were off. The object of the game is to turn ALL the lights off.

So .. are you up to the challenge?

Rush Hour

We've all been in traffic jams in our lives. You sit there and wonder if you are EVER going to get out! Well, maybe if YOU were in charge of directing all those cars, YOU could un-jam them, right?

Okay, here's your chance! Play "Rush Hour" and see if you can get to the exit. It's easy enough said, but sometimes not as easily done. Can you do all the levels?

Sliders

Here some some more slider puzzles (like Dad's Puzzler). These are a bit easier, but just as much fun. This collection of puzzles was provided by mazesworks, whom we thank very much!

Oh .. you will find that the 15-14 puzzle has a problem with it. When you select 'scramble', it doesn't work. We'll let the author of the game know this and put the corrected version on this site when he fixes it.

Until then, try the other ones. My favorite is "Lucky 7". It's easy, but lots of fun.

Sokoban

Push, push, push! Gotta get these things over there! Or is it over here? Hey, why am I doing all the pushing? Come on, people, I could use a little help here!

This is the game of Sokoban. It's fun and challenging, but we have to wonder if anyone out there has the time to master ALL the levels. There are 103 levels! Wow!

Frozen Bubbles

Ah, what beautiful bubbles! Bubbles are a wonder of nature! Bubbles are are friends.

Pop 'em! Shoot 'em up and pop them all! You have to get the colored bubbles to match, and then LAUGH as they pop away to nothing! After all, bubbles are our friends ...

Dots and Boxes

We're sure that you've played "Dots and Boxes" before. It's a really old game. How old? Well, they played it before they had computers, before they had rockets, before they had jets, before they had cars, before they had trains, before they had electricity, before they ... well, you get the idea.

See if you can 'capture' more boxes than the computer!

Cliffie

We're not sure if you ever watched "Cheers" on TV or not, but it was a great show. What made it so great was the wonderful characters they had on it.

Like Cliff, the mailman. He was always on time (to get a beer). You could always depend on him (to be drinking a beer). And he never let rain, sleet, snow or hail stop him (from getting a beer). So play Cliffie and have some fun!

Paint digitally

We all like Art. He's a nice guy. He's polite and good looking and .. oh, wait .. we're talking about ART, not Arthur!

Okay, so put your paintbrushes away and grab that mouse! This program lets you play the game of creativity, where you splash the screen with your own thoughts of colors and shapes and blended visions!

Peg Jump

Jump to the left. Jump to the right. Jump up and jump down.

Jump all around! This is the classic "Peg Jumping" game, where you jump pegs to remove them from the board. How good are you at jumping? Can you jump them all, leaving just one peg left? It's not as easy as it looks, but we're sure that you can do it!
