Do you know what an 'Ode' is? Maybe you've heard of things like "Ode to

An 'ode' is a poem .. kind of .. it rambles on (like me!) and tells a story of some sort.

That got us thinking - what could be better than telling YOUR story? So we decided to dedicate this page to letting our readers tell their stories. But instead of a whole bunch of separate stories, we figured it would be even better to "glue" all those stories together into one big wonderful poem.

Okay, this is how it works. The poem below will "grow" as our readers (YOU) send us additions. Read the poem and then if you are 'inspired' to add a line or two (maybe three or four?), use the submission form below to send us your contribution. We will add your initials over to the side (no names will be posted) to give you credit for your poetic genius!

An Ode to You!

I'll start this poem with a thought to share	JP
of what I think I thought somewhere
I think I thought it over there
But thinking here is just as fair!
I know you think that I'm a poet	ODF
Cause this line rhymes, hey wouldn't you know it?
But rhymes are not the only way	DDF
for poets to say what they say
If I decide to break the rules
I'll write a line that doesn't rhyme!
I think that I will never see	ANP
An ode as lovely as a tree
Or then again, I'll wait and see!
I've wondered if we could get	AWP
Every letter cause then we'd be set
All the letters A thru Z
Thats the way this poem should be
...
